My Journey
Engineering + management foundation from NITK and IIM Calcutta, refined through BPCL, Medtronic, SMAAT, and entrepreneurship, now applied to building practical, production-grade AI and GenAI systems for real-world business workflows.
I bring a foundation of engineering and business, combining systems thinking from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal (NITK) with strategic depth from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta). Early experience at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Medtronic India exposed me to real-world operational systems where reliability, process discipline, and stakeholder alignment were critical.
I later extended this into infrastructure systems through my work with SMAAT India-Water, contributing to digitizing physical operations and bridging physical, data, and decision systems.
Building on this, I moved into entrepreneurship, creating RedRybbons and R-Cafe from the ground up—executing end-to-end systems across infrastructure, operations, and customer experience in highly unstructured environments.
This shaped my core strength: designing systems that work beyond theory.
Today, I focus on AI and GenAI platforms, building scalable, production-grade solutions aligned with real-world business workflows.
Medtronic India
Built and scaled a regulated healthcare territory with full P&L ownership, therapy adoption strategy, and channel risk management.
BPCL
Operated within a live refinery operating system — coordinating maintenance, turnarounds, assets, budgets, and SAP workflows in a safety-critical industrial environment.
SMAAT India
Led cross-functional teams to deploy and scale production water-infrastructure systems, ensuring uptime, SLA compliance, and reliable public operations.

- Explored Indian handicrafts, diagnosed artisan-system bottlenecks, and conceptualized RedRybbons
- Built designer-artisan collaboration, prototype pipelines, SKU systems, and the broader business model
- Pivoted manufacturing for IP protection and later built R-Cafe as a manufacturing, experience, and retail hub
Independent Consultant - SMAAT Systems and Public Interest Litigation
Operations, Automation, and Constitutional Action
- Joined SMAAT, built ground operating systems, deployed Plant Management System, and scaled operations across 835 centres in 3 states
- Implemented payments, workforce incentives, automation, and revenue systems while earning a COO-track leadership position
- Independently filed, pursued, and argued multiple PILs before the Supreme Court of India end-to-end
Territory Manager - Regional Business Leadership
Medtronic India
- Owned Karnataka and Goa as Territory Manager with full regional business responsibility
- Managed P&L, pricing, forecasting, 100 accounts, and 15 key opinion leaders to drive therapy adoption
- Expanded the market through events, outreach, and CRM-led process standardization
Engineering Foundation and MBA Transition
BPCL to IIM Calcutta
- Started at BPCL as Graduate Engineer Trainee, rotated across refinery units, and built a core operations base
- Worked in maintenance engineering and major refinery turnarounds using SAP PM, MM, and PS workflows
- Completed MBA at IIM Calcutta, shifting from engineering execution into business and strategy leadership
